Is there a dress code?
We are going to be DRESSED UP and we looove to see our friends and family dressed up too. We are putting the ‘Black Tie Optional (Formal)’ label on it but we always like to see creativity and don’t expect you to dress within the confines of a literal black suit and tie. Wear what makes you feel hot and chic! Consider the elements: it may get cool at night so check the weather incase you need an overcoat, the grounds can be uneven in places so opting for a wedge/platform/sandal over a stiletto, it may also be super warm that day (literally can not wait for the 10 day weather forecast).
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP as soon as you can! No date is too early for us :-)
Will there be transportation?
There will be a shuttle at the end of the night so if you plan on drinking you will have a safe ride back to your accommodation or downtown Penticton. The venue is 15 minutes away from the centre of Penticton, we suggest calling ahead for a cab to get to the venue. If you plan to drive and park, please be in touch as there are limited parking spots but we will be able to accommodate some vehicles.
Can I make a toast?
Of course! We would love to her from our family and friends. Please let us know via the RSVP form if you would like to make a toast.
Are children allowed at the wedding?
We love kids! Please let us know in the RSVP form if you plan to bring your young ones and a kids meal will be organized for those under 12.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony and be present in the moment with us. Feel free to take pictures during the reception!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar with wine, beer and alcohol free options. Please drink responsibly.
Where can I find accommodations?
We have reserved blocks of rooms at The Fairfield Inn. Please mention ‘Amanda and Chris' when booking to get a discount. More details are available under the ‘Travel’ page and we have selected some Airbnbs close by.
What if I need special assistance or accommodations?
If you need any special assistance or accommodations, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I bring my pet?
There are no animals allowed on the premises since there is a resident cat and dog. Thank you for understanding.
